My first involvement in IT was in 1977. By the middle of the 1980s, I was already networking computers as a radio ham, wirelessly, a network manager of tens of thousands of users.
I started by working in the manufacturing industry, automating the high-tech creation of previously handmade objects. I started as an apprentice and became the Master, managing the apprentice department.
From there, in a career change, I moved into the training world in 1997 and started to automate delivery with CBT, which turned into eLearning.
Blame me, but I imported the first DIY authoring tools into Europe and, for over ten years, represented first Trainersoft and later Lectora. I built a team offering training support services and creating thousands of hours of learning.
Now, 28 years later, with hindsight and experience, I am still pushing the envelope of LearnTech, including Cyber, AI, and Machine Learning, but the focus has changed towards understanding and meeting business needs.
My extensive experience and contribution to the L&D field have made me an acknowledged leader and pioneer in digital learning and personal development.
I am skilled as a learning architect developing new strategies, programmes, and technologies that successfully integrate into business workflows, specialising in Customer Success, Revenue Retention, and lower Customer Support costs.
Experience with New Starters - Senior Management.
Throughout my career, I have supported diverse industries and fields, including:
Cybersecurity
Hospitality
Sales
Pharmaceutical
Petrochemical
Automotive
Professional Services
FinTech
Product

Neil is one of the sharpest guys I have met. His creativity and out-of-the-box thinking constantly inspire me. Beyond ideas, Neil has real solutions to real issues organizations have every day. I have put Neil on my list of smart people to call when I need advice, you should too.
Neil is a creative ball of energy when it comes to organizational development and workplace performance. His passion is contagious, and he never fails to excite, intrigue and add insight.
When you meet someone with a significant public profile, there is a danger that they will not come up to your expectations.
In my experience, there is ZERO probability of that with Neil; his real persona is even stronger than his public image.
Genuine, realistic, innovative, trustworthy, and inspirational are five adjectives that, to my mind, capture his personality and approach.
